What to Do with Thieves Household Cleaner

A lot of us love to make our own cleaning products out of essential oils — as it turns out, they make great natural cleaners, they smell fantastic, and we know they don’t present the danger to our homes and our families that harsh toxic chemicals present.

Now, we’re all for DIY, but we think there’s room for a little convenience now and then, too, and that’s why we like Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner. It comes in a convenient, large jug, and it’s great for cleaning around the house. We also like to adapt it to specific tasks — below are recommendations for how to dilute this cleaner for use in some of our common clean-up tasks:

Deep Cleaning Scrubber

Just mix baking soda with as much Thieves Household Cleaner as you need to make a thick paste. Scrub your sinks and tubs clean with the paste!

All-Purpose Cleaner

1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner

2-3 cups water

Mix in a spray bottle, spray on surface and wipe away the grime!

Glass and Mirror Spray

1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner

5 drops Lemon essential oil

1 tsp. white vinegar

3 cups water

Mix in a spray bottle, spray on surface and say goodbye to fingerprints and streaks!
